Three terroirs
The fruit of a geological accident: the "Sancerre's fault" has let emerge geological layers from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
Among this hilly landscape, out of place in the middle of the plains of the Loire, three terroirs transfer our wines all their typicity.
The White Soils
Clay-limestone soils originating from kimméridgian marls
The Clots
Chalky soils, yellow and tender or white and compact, originating from oxfordian limestones.
The Flints
Composed of flint, clays and siliceous conglomerates, these soils border the Loire.
Two varieties allow us to develop our wines.
Sauvignon Blanc

Pinot Noir
While Sauvignon is the king of the Sancerre appellation, around 20% of the vineyards are planted with Pinot Noir.
Notes of red fruit and Morello cherry are enhanced by spicy notes such as pepper.
